Following the tragic drowning death of six-year-old Cristian Korte in August of 2014, we have come together to create a fund to assure that every La Plata County family can afford to provide swim lessons for their children, regardless of income. The Cristian Korte Memorial Swim Fund will work together with local human services programs to provide financial assistance to low income families enrolling their children in certified swim programs.
